The vehicle carries the Anniversary Edition trim and appears in silver exterior paint with a black interior. History of the 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo Pace Car

The 1984 Nissan 300ZX entered the market during a period when Japanese manufacturers were expanding their presence in American motorsport. Nissan used the 300ZX platform for several factory-supported efforts, including pace-car duties at regional events. The specific car listed here served as the official pace car for the 1984-85 Mid-Ohio Nissan Race series, placing it directly in the era’s racing calendar.

Its Anniversary Edition trim and hatchback body style reflect standard production features of the time. The silver-over-black color combination was common on 1980s performance models and remains visually distinct in period footage. Productions set in the mid-1980s can use the car’s documented race-series background to add texture to trackside or automotive scenes without relying on generic stand-ins.

Alabama Picture Car Rental Uses
