1974 Pontiac Ventura Custom GTO Rental Added in Florida

Rent Sports Cars has added the 1974 Pontiac Ventura Custom GTO through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle sits in Deltona, Florida, giving Florida picture car rental crews direct access to a 1970s coupe finished in original Fernmist green with matching green interior. Producers working on Florida film car projects now have another local option when they need period-correct transportation that runs and presents cleanly.

Spotlight on this 1974 Pontiac Ventura Custom GTO

This two-door coupe carries the GTO trim package on the Ventura Custom platform. The exterior shows the factory Fernmist green paint, and the interior follows the same green scheme. The listing notes the car as numbers-matching and states it has remained in the same possession for the last 45 years while running and looking like new. Those details matter to crews who need a vehicle that photographs consistently from multiple angles without visible modern alterations.

The coupe body style and automatic transmission fit many 1970s street and highway scenes. Florida movie car coordinators often look for vehicles that read as everyday performance cars from that decade rather than show cars or heavily modified machines. This Pontiac supplies that baseline look while remaining drivable for insert work or short moves on set.

Rent Sports Cars and the Florida Picture Car Market

Rent Sports Cars works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles housed across the state. When crews search for Florida picture car rental options, the network surfaces listings like this one in Deltona so local coordinators do not have to pull cars from distant markets. USA Movie Cars partners with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to keep regional inventories visible and easier to book.

Deltona sits in central Florida, which places the vehicle within reasonable range of many Orlando and Tampa area shoots. Location managers planning Florida film car needs can review the car on the network and decide whether the green coupe fits the visual tone of a given sequence before committing to transport or additional scouting.

History of the 1974 Pontiac Ventura Custom GTO

Pontiac introduced the Ventura nameplate in the early 1970s as a compact model built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Nova. The GTO trim added sportier badging and performance cues that echoed the muscle-car styling language of the period even as overall engine sizes and emissions standards began to shift. By 1974 the Ventura Custom GTO represented one of the last years the GTO name appeared on a compact body before the badge moved to other platforms.

The coupe body with two doors and the factory green color combination places the car squarely in the mid-1970s aesthetic. Many productions set in that decade use similar compact performance cars for background texture, establishing shots of suburban streets, or as character vehicles that signal a certain lifestyle without drawing focus away from principal action. The automatic transmission and gasoline powertrain match the equipment found in most family and personal cars of the era.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

Productions filming in Florida can use the 1974 Pontiac Ventura Custom GTO for scenes set in the 1970s. The green exterior and matching interior supply period color without requiring additional paint or upholstery work. Crews shooting commercials, music videos, or branded content often need a supporting vehicle that feels authentic to the decade yet does not compete with hero cars.

Still photographers and content creators working on editorial or advertising projects can place the coupe in parking lots, driveways, or roadside settings to add visual weight. Event planners who stage 1970s-themed gatherings sometimes request vehicles that serve as static displays or slow-moving parade elements. The car’s documented long-term ownership and clean presentation reduce the variables that sometimes appear with newer or heavily restored vehicles.
