The car carries an off-white finish accented by blue racing stripes and a Shelby R-model front end. A fiberglass hood with scoop sits above the engine bay, while blue GT350 side stripes run along the body. It rides on 1965 Shelby-style rims and features 3-inch exhaust pipes that exit ahead of the rear tires. Inside, the layout follows the 1965 performance theme with a centered oil pressure gauge, tachometer, and 17-inch wood-trimmed steering wheel.

A 1966 Shelby roll bar is fitted, along with original-style 3-inch seat belts and shoulder harnesses. The car is configured as a two-seater, with the rear area used for spare tire storage. History of the 1965 Ford Mustang GT350

The 1965 Ford Mustang GT350 emerged as Shelby American’s first high-performance version of the new Mustang platform. Built for both street and competition use, these cars featured distinctive styling and mechanical upgrades that set them apart from standard Mustangs of the era. The model quickly became an icon of 1960s American sports car design.

This particular example spent years as a private racing entry on tracks across the country before transitioning to a quieter role. Its white-and-blue livery, fiberglass hood, and Shelby-style details reflect the visual language of that period. Producers seeking authentic 1960s performance imagery can draw on these established cues without needing to fabricate period elements.
