Crews working on film, television, or commercial projects in the state now have another New Mexico picture car rental choice that fits 1960s settings.
Spotlight on this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
This Corvette shows an Ermine White exterior paired with Bright Blue leather interior. The car carries stock side pipes, knock-off wheels, and redline tires that match the era. A four-speed manual transmission and air conditioning are also listed, making it suitable for both static shots and scenes that require the vehicle to move on camera.
The two-door coupe body style and overall classic lines give productions a recognizable 1960s sports car silhouette. Location managers and prop masters can use these visual details to anchor period scenes or add texture to background plates shot in New Mexico.
Rent Sports Cars and the New Mexico Picture Car Market
Rent Sports Cars focuses on vehicles that serve both general sports car rental needs and specialized picture car work. By listing this Corvette through USA Movie Cars, the site connects New Mexico productions with a vehicle that already sits inside the state. USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as New Mexico Picture Cars to help crews locate vehicles without searching multiple unrelated platforms.
Peralta, New Mexico, places the car within easy reach of Albuquerque and Santa Fe shoots. Productions filming across the state can pull the Corvette for day or multi-day use while keeping transport costs low. The network approach lets location managers search New Mexico film car options and still reach vehicles listed on partner sites in other regions when needed.
History of the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
The 1965 Corvette Coupe belongs to the second-generation Corvette line that ran from 1963 through 1967. Chevrolet built these cars with a distinctive fastback roofline and exposed headlamps that became signature styling cues of the mid-1960s. The model year sits squarely in the era when American manufacturers emphasized performance and clean exterior lines.
Many productions choose 1965 Corvettes when they need a vehicle that reads as both everyday transportation and aspirational sports car for that decade. The body style, wheel design, and side-pipe exhaust layout help place a scene in the mid-1960s without requiring additional set dressing. General period context from the listing supports its use in stories set between 1963 and 1967.
New Mexico Picture Car Rental Uses
Producers can use this Corvette for establishing shots of 1960s streets or driveways in New Mexico. The white-over-blue color combination stands out in wide shots while still blending into background traffic when the script calls for it. Music video directors and commercial crews often place similar cars in foreground or mid-ground positions to add movement and era detail.
Still photography and branded content shoots benefit from the car’s intact interior and exterior details. Event planners sometimes request classic sports cars for static displays or staged arrivals. The vehicle’s listed features give crews flexibility across these different production types without needing extensive modifications.
